A new deadly virus, is shortening breaths,
Too many cases and too many deaths,
I cling to a tissue, I often have cried in,
Will it be Trump, or will it be Biden?
We honour the workers, declare them essential.
Asking your leader, to be presidential.
A mask, some distance, to help others guide in,
Will it be Trump, or will it be Biden?
On November the 3rd, it will be time to choose.
Your TV and internet, what’s really fake news?
Fatigue turns to apathy, polls show we are tied in.
Will it be Trump, or will it be Biden?
Science and politics, file for divorce,
They can’t get along, it’s tragic of course.
Fact checkers give up as truth has been lied in,
Will it be Trump, or will it be Biden?
Each family knows of a victim or mourner,
While others declare, we are rounding the corner.
So much division, multiply and divide in?
Will it be Trump, or will it be Biden?
Neither political party is spared.
People on both sides have showed that they’re scared.
But they stay off the record, quotes they’re denied in.
Will it be Trump, or will it be Biden?
Was it something I said, was it something I ate?
Can’t agree what Makes America Great!
Constitutional words, or at least what’s implied in
Will it be Trump, or will it be Biden?
Contrary opinions are subject to heckles.
Mad Mr. Hydes, become shy Dr. Jekylls
Our polarized friends are hard to confide in.

Now isn’t it funny, and isn’t it strange
How we choose to see facts, that won’t make us change.
We feel too much comfort, in the world that we hide in,
Will it be Trump, or will it be Biden?
Peaceful protests are marred by the lootin.
Condemning the violence, but never the Putin.
Mocking the soldiers for the wars that they died in,
Will it be Trump, or will it be Biden?
A two party system forces alliance,
It’s never agreement. It’s always compliance!
Supporting the turbulent wave that you ride in.
Will it be Trump, or will it be Biden?
When the other is right, then the other is wrong,
You sing “Stand by Me” cause it’s your favourite song.
Use party lines, show what you applied in,
Will it be Trump, or will it be Biden?
We love the Americans, from all 50 states.
But recently, we’re seeing less loving, more hates.
It’s tense, like a third base stealing home with a slide in,
Will it be Trump, or will it be Biden?
Canadians watch you, with sheer disbelief.
Insanity daily, and you get no relief.
We wish we could help you, but all has been tried in,
Will it be Trump, or will it be Biden?
On November the 3rd, the world will be viewing.
Don’t make the world ask “WHAT ARE YOU DOING?”
Keep it clean like the oil things haven’t been fried in.

I must say one thing before I conclude,
Canadians are famous, for not being rude.
I hope that the next line tickles a nerve,
You will get the leadership, that you deserve.
Vote with your conscience, you’ll be fine and take pride in,
